Drink Up!

In my water journey, which began with a speech about hydration and health, I was surprised to learn that thirst is the body's final signal for needed water.  That means that if you wait until you're thirsty, your body has already begun rationing, or restricting, the amount of water needed by the five main organs: the brain, heart, liver, kidneys and lungs.

Alternative medicine shows that chronic, mild dehydration is the cause of many disorders, ranging from arthritis to cholesterol to high blood pressure.  Is it any wonder that the pharmaceuticals are raking in billions of dollars annually?

Just think: ailments that some consider inevitable can be avoided simply by drinking water!  Of course, I'm assuming you're already eating properly, sleeping eight hours, exercising, and enjoying peace of mind.  The body asks so little, yet without these, demands so much for repair.

That's why I not only drink water throughout the day and night, but now I'm drinking the ultimate water -- "structured" (hexagonal) water, the kind that actually enters the cells!  More on this in my next installment.

Stay tuned, and stay hydrated!
